September Update!

Yes, it's almost the end of September. It's already Fall and the color of the leaves are changing. The weather has finally started to turn cold. It's harvest time on farms in the area and... we are STILL filming "The Harvestman". With the help of an amazing cast and crew that have given us far more than we asked of them, the show marches on! September saw us make seven trips to Hays (including one tomorrow) to finish crucial scenes, film on-screen deaths, wreck havoc on the farm itself, and have nothing but fun the whole time.

Like any good movie production we are well behind schedule. And so, we will continue filming into October as we close in on completion of filming. We're so close... so very close now! August saw us pestered by mosquitoes and pelted by heavy rains. September brought howling winds that made audio incredibly challenging. What does October have in store for us? Perhaps some snow? I certainly hope not!

Post-production is also well underway. Editing has begun and the movie is starting to unfold before our eyes. In other news, 5205 Studios member (and Director of Photography on "The Harvestman") Reilly Fenton is moving to England this week. We wish him all the best as he goes to live the good life overseas... and open the European branch of 5205 Studios. Haha! But, fear not fans! He will be returning when we are ready to go with our next project. That's right! We're not stopping now!
