Day Two

Good morning~

If you are wondering what happened to Day One, I am here to tell you!
It was a fun filled, mosquito mayhem day! The core group arrived throughout the day, as Sarah and Clint were taking care of location stations including hair, wardrobe, special effects, and our recreation room.

We had to get our furthest set filled with stunt safeties, our camping area all designed with tents, and of course, outhouse etiquette. Apparently it's too small and dark to keep the door closed, and the view is overlooking a beautiful serene coulee, so who want the door closed anyway?

Our first meal was a great feast of hamburgers, salad, watermelon and a delicious homemade relish, thanks to Katrina, our fabulous cook!

We did a walk through with all actors available, and the excitement built as each scene was covered.

A great storm blew in last evening, heading on from the north. Apparently a cold system met with our hot system, and lightning lit up the sky for hours. Everyone was courageous through it all, and the storm blew past. A few gusts of wind, and a small pattering of rain left our skies by the morning, leaving a gorgeous sunrise for us to enjoy a full breakfast under.

Pancakes, sausages, mixed berries syrup and an assortment of fruit and breakfast cookies was absolutely delightful to stat today off with. As we head into the afternoon we are preparing to have a late shoot, so all actors are going over their scripts, special effects are getting bloodier, and of course wardrobes are being run over...!

Can't wait to post again tonight, thanks for reading!
